Read the Word.
Together.

Aletheo is a Bible reading accountability app for small groups. You and one friend, or up to six. One photo of an open Bible, paper or app, every day. A streak you keep, or lose, together.

How a circle works

01

Start a circle

Invite one friend or five. Any size from two to six works. A Bible study, a family, a group chat that means it this time.

02

Post your proof

One photo a day of your open Bible, or a screenshot of your Bible app, plus the passage. Proof of presence, not performance.

03

Keep the streak

The streak is collective. Encourage, pray, nudge, and let grace cover rest days and travel.

“Two are better than one… for if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth.”
ECCLESIASTES 4:9–10

Research on more than 40,000 readers: Scripture four or more days a week changes a life. One to three days is statistically the same as zero. Circles exist to keep you over the line.

This is not social media.

Most Bible apps help you read alone. This small group app adds what solo reading plans are missing: a circle that notices. There is no feed to scroll, no follower count to grow, no ad to be sold. Every post is Scripture, opened today, by someone who knows your name.

Setting a pause in Aletheo: traveling for Christmas, no broken streak

You can take a pause

Life happens. People travel, families get sick, and some weeks ask everything of you. That's why every circle in Aletheo has pauses: you can set aside days when you need them, and those days simply don't count. No broken streak, no guilt, no starting over. When the pause ends, your streak picks up right where it left off, because faithfulness is measured over years, not days, and rest is part of walking with Jesus, not a failure of it.

Four Days a Week Changes Everything

In a study of more than 40,000 Americans, adults who engaged Scripture four or more times a week lived measurably different lives, including 57% lower odds of falling into any of these habits:

0%
lower odds of gambling
0%
lower odds of sex outside marriage
0%
lower odds of viewing pornography
0%
lower odds of getting drunk

Center for Bible Engagement, "Understanding the Bible Engagement Challenge: Scientific Evidence for the Power of 4" (Cole & Ovwigho, 2009). Odds among adults engaging Scripture 4+ times per week, controlling for other factors.
